The Eternal Abyss is built around exceptionally difficult tower obbies spread across a main area and three currently documented playable branches. Start with the Tower List when you need a lookup, or use the focused guides below when you are choosing an entry point, a first Soul-Crushing clear, or an elite Unreal project. Every rating and location shown from community records is dated because towers can move, be rerated, or leave the active roster.
Start with the right tower
Tower List
Use the documented index by area, type, difficulty, warning, and evidence status.
Best for lookupTower of Naive Facades
The unusual Easy-rated main-area tower, with a deliberate scary-theme turn.
Best for orientationSteeple of Esoteric Arcane
A short Starry Night steeple repeatedly discussed as a first-SC option.
Best for compact practiceTower of Reddish Monolith
A regular-length Starry Night Insane with a prominent central red frame.
Best for sustained first-SC workTower of It Never Ends
A very long, punishing Unreal tower for players already comfortable with elite runs.
Best for advanced studyDo not pick solely from a badge win count. Roblox badges confirm that named completions belong to this universe, but they may include historic, moved, removed, duplicate, or otherwise non-current records. The live portal and difficulty chart are the final checks for where a tower is now.
Understand the tower types
The community catalog uses several structural names. A Tower normally has ten floors. A Steeple is shorter, commonly five or six floors, and can concentrate hard movement into a compact run. A Citadel is longer than a standard tower, while Mini Towers, Obelisks, and Great Citadels describe other lengths or formats used by particular areas.
Type is not difficulty. A short steeple can demand tighter execution than a longer tower, and a citadel can derive much of its challenge from endurance. Compare length, punishment, and required techniques alongside the rating. If your consistency drops after long sessions, a compact technical steeple may be a better project than an easier-rated but much longer route.
Read ratings and warnings as planning tools
Community pages currently organize playable difficulty from the exceptional Easy entries through Insane, Extreme, Terrifying, Catastrophic, Horrific, and Unreal. Exact decimal ratings are maintained by the community and can change. Use them to place two options near one another, not to claim that a difference of a few hundredths predicts your personal experience.
Portal warnings communicate a different dimension of risk. Punishing suggests that a miss may erase substantial progress. Inconsistent suggests uneven difficulty across a route. Loopfaily points to failures that can drop you through multiple sections. Jank, Traps, and Scary warn about behavior or presentation that may matter more to you than the nominal rating.
Use the four-area structure
The official experience identifies the main area plus Pit of Misery, Timeless Manor, and Starry Night as branches with different tower styles. Community snapshots place the main area’s roster across an enormous difficulty range, Timeless Manor around older or deliberately classic construction, and Starry Night toward the easier end of this game’s Soul-Crushing focus. Pit of Misery has its own hard roster and a history of additions and relocation.
Open the Areas hub before following a route from an old video. The lobby was revamped in October 2025, and tower placement has continued to change. Matching the current portal name is more reliable than memorizing scenery from an earlier upload.
Build a real completion attempt
First, enter the tower and inspect its warning hints, type, and live difficulty label. Next, use Practice Mode to isolate the sections that end most runs. Practice a start segment, the hardest isolated section, and the final segment; reaching a late floor once is less useful than knowing you can close the run.
For legitimate attempts, remove practice assists and establish a calm reset routine. If a miss was caused by a late camera correction, solve that setup before changing the jump. If the failure came from impatience after a long safe section, add a deliberate pause point on the last stable platform. The objective is not to rush back to your personal best but to arrive there with a repeatable plan.
Evidence and changing data
Official Roblox data verifies the universe, root place, creator, and large badge inventory. It does not publish a complete live tower roster, decimal difficulty chart, portal route, or warning list. The detailed index therefore uses maintained community pages as a dated working snapshot and labels those values as community reported.
The Updates hub helps you check whether the universe, passes, places, or documented roster changed after this page’s date. If the live game disagrees with a route or label here, follow the live game and treat the difference as a version change rather than forcing an old plan.
Towers FAQ
How many towers are in The Eternal Abyss?
The official goal is 50 towers in each area, not a statement that every area has already reached that number. The badge API returned 196 badge records during the check, but badge records are not the same as a live roster. Use the dated Tower List instead of quoting one total without scope.
What is the easiest tower?
Tower of Naive Facades is the documented non-Soul-Crushing Easy tower in the main area. For a first Soul-Crushing project, current discussions repeatedly mention Steeple of Esoteric Arcane and Tower of Reddish Monolith. See Easiest Towers for the tradeoffs.
What is the hardest tower?
Ratings and verification status move. Tower of It Never Ends is a current, documented Unreal project with a May 2026 verification, but this hub does not declare a permanent top one.
